Okay this wrought iron rooster is a FIND! Attributed to the post-war French design collective Les Artisans de Marolles, founded by sculptor Jean Touret in the 1950s. They were celebrated for elevating utilitarian ironwork into highly expressive minimalist art. This piece repurposes a horseshoe for the main body (sick!) and it’s got amazing hammered texture.
