I tried to read Tropic of Cancer a couple times and couldn’t do it, but I always find myself pretty enamored with Henry Miller’s nonfiction and this is no exception. Fascinating guy, lots of contradictions, lots to be taken from him, some of which he intended. Misogynist though he is, big mistake to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
