Vintage Brutalist Brass Wall Mirror with Human Figure
My brilliant friend and artist Eliot Spaulding-Blair turned me onto this maker, HVQ Byrd, a husband wife duo working from the 70s up until about 10 years ago. These human figures are a signature especially of their earlier work — presenting mirrors and light switch plates almost as if they were a gift.
Measurements: 17” H x 4” W
Condition: excellent vintage condition with typical signs of wear due to age, one of the nails on the back that’s holding the mirror on is gone but it remains well-connected
